The Texas Association of Financial and Tax Specialists is an association of professionals who are dedicated to promoting competency and integrity of practitioners who serve the public in the areas of finance and taxation.
We’re Enrolled Agents, CPAs, Attorneys, Financial Planners, and Small Business Owners. Our active chapters are located in five districts throughout Texas. We maintain and staff our administrative office in Austin.

TAFTS is a state affiliate of the National Society of Accountants
TAFTS represents your interests before the governing bodies of Texas. Our governmental relations specialists maintain close and continuing contact with the executive branch, the legislature and state regulators.
Achievements TAFTS members are ACAT-accredited; enrolled agents, accredited tax advisors, CPAs, and have degrees in accounting. The Association offers the benefit of our members’ knowledge to professionals working on these achievements. Courses for the EA and ACAT exams lead to your accreditation and recognition as a top professional in your field.
Members receive peer recognition for achievements and honors in the Association’s quarterly newsletter, The Ledger, and during the Annual Meeting. Chapter meetings, training courses and the Annual Meeting also provide networking opportunities for TAFTS members.
